Privacy policy
Last updated 5 August 2026.
Who we are
Novii is operated by Australian Registration Office Pty Ltd (ABN 58 645 964 156), referred to in this policy as we, us or our. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through novii.com.au.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
We collect personal information that you give us, which may include:
- your name and contact details
- information you enter into a quote request or contact form, such as your employer, salary range, and the vehicle you are interested in
- any other information you choose to include in a message to us
We do not ask for sensitive information as defined in the Privacy Act, and we ask that you do not send it to us.
We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit: the pages you view, the site or search that sent you, your device and browser, and an approximate location. This comes from Google Analytics, which is described under Cookies and analytics below.
Why we collect it, and what we do with it
Novii is an information and referral service. We are not a lease provider, financier or adviser. The main reason we collect your personal information is to pass your enquiry to a novated lease provider so they can contact you with a quote.
We use personal information to:
- refer your enquiry to Leaselab Pty Ltd so they can prepare a quote and contact you
- respond to questions you send us through the contact form
- administer any promotion you take part in
- improve the information on this website
Who we disclose it to
When you request a quote, we disclose the information you provide toLeaselab Pty Ltd (ABN 45 635 559 269), who will contact you directly. Once your information reaches them, their own privacy policy governs how they handle it, and any question about their handling of it should go to them.
Novii may be entitled to a commission from Leaselab Pty Ltd if you proceed to a lease. We tell you this because it is relevant to how you read the information on this site.
We also disclose personal information to the service providers who host this website and who provide our analytics, which is Google, and to anyone else where we are required or authorised by law to do so.
Overseas disclosure
This website is hosted by service providers located in the United States, and information submitted through it may be stored or handled there. Our analytics provider, Google, also processes information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure those providers handle personal information in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Direct marketing
If we send you marketing about novated leasing, every message includes a way to opt out, and we act on an opt-out promptly. You can also ask us at any time to stop, using the contact form. We do not sell your personal information to third-party marketing lists.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to understand which pages people find useful. It sets cookies in your browser, named _ga and _ga_ followed by a code for this site, which hold an identifier for your browser rather than for you. They last up to two years. We use the reports to decide what to write next and what to fix.
Google Analytics uses your IP address to work out an approximate location and to filter out automated traffic. Google states that it does not associate the raw address with a user identifier and discards it after that use. We never see it, and we do not link analytics data to anything you enter into a form.
You can switch this off. Blocking cookies in your browser settings, or installing Google's opt-out browser add-on, stops the reporting. Neither costs you access to anything on this site.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Use the contact form and we will respond within a reasonable period. There is no charge for asking, and we will tell you first if a request would involve a cost.
If we refuse a request, we will tell you why in writing and explain how to complain.
Keeping information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it, and destroy or de-identify it when we no longer do.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, tell us through the contact form and we will investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and the current version always sits on this page.
